In 2006 the label Eternal Sunday (started by Emiliano Canal himself) released the compilation Southern Waves, An Argentinian Tribute To Classic Electropop. 14 electropop classics by artists like Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Eurythmics, Madonna or Camouflage were covered.
Canal Pop did a version of the hit “Pop Goes The World” originally by the Canadian band Men Without Hats. Sung by Emiliano himself, it remains the best selling track of the compilation AND the label.
